The members of the Board of Directors will have the responsibility to supervise the management of the business and affairs of PlantForm.
The Board, directly and through its committees and the Chairman of the Board, will provide direction to senior management, generally through the CEO, to pursue the best interests of the company. The Board of Directors will be accountable to the investors for the Company’s performance. PlantForm will engage Board members with a global perspective of biotechnology.
The board will include Dr. Mark Goldberg, already identified as the Chairman of the Corporation, Dr. Steve Narod of the Women's College Hospital in Toronto, as well as Dr. Chris Hall, scientific founder and CSO and Dr. Don Stewart, CEO. This group will be supplemented by senior leaders in business and finance also from the pharmaceutical sector. Ideally the Board will number seven.
